Game Reserves

Mossel Bay is beautiful – and it’s home to some of the rarest fynbos (Cape macchia) in the whole of the Cape Floral Kingdom. It’s also a favourite stop-off point for migratory whales during the mating and calving season (May – October) and home to many wild animals and more than 200 species of birds because of its mix of fynbos, mountain, seashore, man-made grassland, riverine and pelagic habitats.

You’ll want to explore all this beauty, of course. You’ll find that game viewing, whale and dolphin watching and birding – or just sitting and dreaming at nature’s abundance will quickly put you into our Mossel Bay No Hurry, No Worries state of mind.
