The Oystercatcher Trail is truly a wonderful experience.
Hike along the beautiful Southern Cape coastline, while your guide explains the amazing Fauna, Flora and Marine life to you. You will also have the opportunity to come in close contact with the creatures and other life forms of the area.
This day hike will start at the small coastal town, Boggoms Bay and continue along the beach, rocky shores and Fynbos tracks to Kanon.
We will be doing a beach clean up on the trail.

BRING: LUNCH and WATER – Bring swimming kit
EXTRA NOTES: Binoculars recommended, Wear sturdy shoes, Coastal Scenery, Rock pools, Cultural and Historic Interest, Marine and Coastal Interest, Beach Walking, Bring your own first aid kit
DIRECTIONS TO SANDPIPER LEISURE CENTRE IN BOGGOMSBAAI:
From Cape Town, it is 35 km’s past Albertinia on the N2.
From George, it is 15 km’s past Mossel Bay in the direction to Albertinia on the N2.
Turn off at the large BOGGOMSBAAI sign on the N2.
After turning off, travel for 11 km’s on the side road and turn left at the small Boggomsbaai / Sandpiper B&B sign.
As you approach the village, turn first left into Strelitzia Str. at the T- junction turn RIGHT into Whale Str. Turn left again at the second road where you will see the Sandpiper Sport Centre / Reception.
