More about the show:
On Saturday evening 19 December, Stellenbosch singer-songwriter Luna Paige brings you an intimate glance into her world of thought, lyrics, poetry, and songs. She performs some of her favourite songs, new songs as performed earlier this year at the Woordfees (Stellenbosch) as well as cover songs she recently decided to make friends with and interpret in her own way. ‘Little Lies’ is inspired by the series ‘Big Little Lies’; in ‘Why does love discriminate?’ Paige ponders on why some strike it lucky and some don’t; she performs her own ‘Song of the Absurd’ – a song (‘The River’) written and inspired by the Berg river in Velddrif…among others. Come join us for a special evening, filled with beautiful images, melodies, and thought-provoking lyrics. Come and celebrate the love of music and songwriting with this visiting artist. Paige performs original songs in both English and Afrikaans.
